Winfingerprint is a ".NET"-based security tool with powerful scanning techniques, which can be very useful for administration of networks with good security. The program's basic feature is scanning the network through different protocols like TCP, UDP and SNMP. It also supports ICMP trace routing.
This program also supports different scanning options in DOMAIN, ACTIVE DIRECTORY and WMI API. It provides Fixed Network Neighborhood enumeration, ICMP Trace route, ADSI User, Group and Service Enumerations and RPC Enumerations. Using Winfingerprint, you can perform either a passive scan or interactively explore network shares, map network drives, browse HTTP/FTP sites and more. Scans can be run on a single host or an entire network neighborhood. It also provides flexibility to network administrators in terms of scanning a number of hosts at one time.
This program is also capable of storing a MySQL database, so that it can save output for future use. Interestingly, this useful tool is absolutely free to download and use. |
